Snake 'Gold Flame'

Botanical Name: Sansevieria trifasciata

Common Names: Snake Plant, Laurentii, Mother-in-Law’s Tongue

Description:

Native to tropical West Africa, the Snake Plant ‘Laurentii’ is a classic for a reason. Its tall, upright, sword-shaped leaves feature bold dark green striping with signature golden-yellow edges that instantly elevate any space. Architectural, clean, and effortlessly modern, this plant thrives in homes and offices alike.

Known for being incredibly drought tolerant, its thick leaves store water—making it a forgiving choice for both new and seasoned plant parents. It’s also easy to propagate from leaf cuttings, so you can multiply your collection or gift a rooted piece to a fellow plant lover. (We love a plant that builds community.)

💧 Water

Allow soil to dry 100% between waterings.

This plant prefers to dry out fully before being watered again. When in doubt… wait. Overwatering is the only real way to upset this one.

☀️ Light

Tolerates low light but thrives in a bright indirect view of the sky.

It can handle a wide range of lighting conditions, but brighter indirect light will support stronger growth and bolder variegation.

🐾 Pet Safety

Not pet safe.  Snake Plants are mildly toxic if ingested, so keep out of reach of curious pets.

🌿 Fleurish Tip

Snake Plants don’t like to be fussed over. The less you hover, the happier they are. If you’re unsure whether to water… don’t. the soil, feel the weight of the pot, then decide.

Confidence over chaos. Always. 💚
