The Purple Peach pepper, a unique Capsicum chinense variety created by Jes Tollerup in Denmark, is a cross between Murupi Amarela and a Bhut/Neyde hybrid. With striking purple-black foliage and tall growth up to 5 feet, the plant is visually stunning. Its elongated, thin pods start nearly black, ripening to a peach hue with purple mottling, creating a vibrant appearance. The peppers measure 100,000–200,000 Scoville units, delivering a fruity, citrusy flavor with mild-to-medium habanero heat.
