Steinernema kraussei is a beneficial nematode that is best known to control vine weevil larvae. 

Application Rate Recommendations for Steinernema kraussei:

The recommended application rate for this product is 2 billion nematodes per acre (5 billion per hectare) in a minimum water volume of 50 gallons per acre (450 L per 0.3175-0.635 cm) of irrigation water to move nematodes into the soil profile

• Preventative: Apply drench treatments at between 5% and 10% of pot volume
• Moderate Infestation: Apply when soil temperature is between 41-86°F (5-30°C)
• Heavy Infestation: Apply when the soil or growing medium is moist, or irrigate thoroughly before application

How-To Use Steinernema kraussei For Best Results:

• Apply when soil temperature is between 41-86°F (5-30°C)
  
• Use immediately on receipt of packs or refrigerate at 41°F (5°C) (do not freeze)
  
• Avoid application in direct sunlight; nematodes are UV-sensitive, so apply on a dull day or in the evening
  
• Apply when the soil or growing medium is moist, or irrigate thoroughly before application
