Eretmocerus eremicus is a parasitoid wasp that lays eggs underneath whitefly nymphs and when larvae emerge, they feed on the whiteflies from the inside out. Best known for their ability to control Tobacco whitefly (Bemesia tabaci) along with Greenhouse whitefly (Trialeurodes vapariorum).
Application Rate Recommendations for Eretmocerus eremicus:
- Preventative: 1-2 cards per 1000 sq. ft. every 2-4 weeks.
- Moderate Infestation: 2-4 cards per 1000 sq. ft. every 1-2 weeks.
- Heavy Infestation: 4-8 cards per 1000 sq. ft. every 1 week.
How-To Use Eretmocerus eremicus For Best Results:
- Hang the cards on plants where whiteflies are present and keep them out of direct sunlight.
