German Foxtail Millet

German foxtail millet is a fast-growing, warm-season annual grass commonly used for forage production, quick ground cover, and summer soil protection. Often referred to as German millet or millet grass, it produces high-quality, palatable forage and performs best in warm, well-drained soils.

• Fast Summer Establishment: German millet germinates quickly and provides rapid ground cover during warm-season planting windows.

• High-Quality Forage: Produces fine-stemmed, highly palatable forage suitable for grazing or hay when managed before seed head maturity.

• Warm-Season Adaptability: Performs well in sandy to loamy soils under sunny, semi-arid conditions.
