Scientific name: Agastache rugosa

White and Purple Agastache rugosa Mix

Agastache rugosa, also called Korean mint, is a fragrant perennial with anise-scented foliage and upright flower spikes. This mix produces white- and purple-flowering plants that attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds from summer into early fall.

This Asian species is distinct from the North American native Agastache foeniculum Its clumping habit and aromatic foliage make it useful in pollinator gardens, herb gardens, and sunny perennial borders.

Growing Conditions

  • Light: Full sun to part shade
  • Hardiness zones: 4–9
  • Mature size: Approximately 2–4 feet tall and 1–2 feet wide
  • Bloom time: Summer into early fall
  • Flower colors: White and purple mix
  • Soil: Moist but well-drained; established plants tolerate short dry periods
  • Wildlife value: Attracts bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds
  • Browsing tolerance: Wildlife tend not to browse

What You’ll Receive

  • 3.25-inch pots: More established plants that may be dormant approximately November through April. Dormant plants may have little top growth but healthy roots.

Planting and Care
