5 Seeds Evergreen Dogwood Cornus capitata angustata Ornamental Tree

Evergreen Dogwood (Cornus capitata angustata) is a handsome ornamental tree valued for its glossy semi-evergreen foliage and layered branching habit, offering year-round structure and texture in the landscape. It produces small greenish flower clusters surrounded by showy creamy-white bracts, followed by strawberry-like red fruits that add seasonal interest.
This tree works beautifully as a specimen, shade tree, or mixed border accent, and its dense form suits hedges and privacy plantings. Growth is moderate and upright when young, gradually broadening with age. The red fruits are attractive to birds and wildlife, while the foliage provides a lush backdrop for other plantings.
