5 Seeds Dicentra chrysantha Yellow Dicentra Native Perennial

Dicentra chrysantha, commonly called Yellow Dicentra, is a native perennial wildflower valued for its finely cut blue-green foliage and golden yellow, heart-shaped flowers that appear in late spring and early summer. This California-native species brings a soft, airy texture to native plantings, meadow gardens, and dry borders, and its upright bloom spikes rise above the ferny leaves for a graceful, natural look.
Use it in native landscapes, pollinator gardens, xeriscape plantings, and informal meadow settings where its delicate form can naturalize. It is a herbaceous perennial that dies back in summer dormancy and returns from a fleshy root system. The flowers are excellent for cut arrangements and contrast well with purple, blue, and white bloomers. Allow spent flowers to mature if seed collection is desired.
