5 Seeds Buffalo Gourd Cucurbita foetidissima Perennial Desert Vine Drought Tolerant Ornamental

Buffalo Gourd is a perennial desert vine in the Cucurbitaceae family, valued for its vigorous trailing growth and ornamental value in arid and xeriscape gardens. It is a low-water species that adapts well to hot, dry conditions and produces large, textured foliage and yellow blooms on sprawling vines.
This plant works well as a ground cover or trellis specimen in desert landscaping, where its rapid growth and broad leaves can fill open space. The vines produce small round gourds that dry on the plant. It is grown primarily as an ornamental and landscape plant in warm, dry climates.
