30 Seeds Devil's Walking Stick Aralia spinosa Hardy Ornamental Tree

Devil's Walking Stick (Aralia spinosa) is a striking deciduous tree or large shrub known for its bold tropical-looking foliage and dramatic spiny stems. It produces huge bi-pinnate leaves up to several feet long and large showy panicles of tiny white flowers in summer, followed by dark berries that attract birds. Its architectural form makes a bold statement in the landscape.

Grown as an ornamental specimen, border plant, or woodland garden accent, Devil's Walking Stick adds strong vertical interest and texture. The spiny trunk and branches give it a distinctive, rugged character, while the enormous leaves cast light, filtered shade. It is a vigorous grower once established and offers multi-season interest from flowers to fruit to winter silhouette.
