American Persimmon is a North American native fruit tree valued for its sweet, flavorful fruit and attractive ornamental qualities. These seedlings offer a rewarding long-term project for growers interested in native edibles and landscape trees.

The fruit is prized for fresh eating when fully ripe and is also used in baking, jams, and preserves. American Persimmon develops into a striking tree with glossy foliage, inconspicuous spring blooms, and vivid fall color, making it a strong choice for edible landscapes and wildlife-friendly plantings.
