3 Live Plant Plugs Ponca Blackberry Thornless Rubus fruticosus

Ponca blackberry is a thornless, erect blackberry variety known for its sweet, firm fruit and primocane fruiting habit, producing berries on first-year canes. This self-pollinating selection offers a productive, easy-to-manage addition to the home fruit garden and performs well in containers or raised beds.

The berries are excellent for fresh eating, baking, preserves, jams, and freezing. Plants grow upright with a manageable, semi-erect habit that requires minimal trellising. Fruit ripens in mid to late summer on primocanes, with a second lighter crop possible on floricanes the following season.
