3 Bare Root Plants Ming Toy Daylily Hemerocallis

Ming Toy Daylily is a compact, early-blooming perennial prized for its vivid orange petals with a contrasting red eye zone and bright yellow-green throat. This repeat-blooming hemerocallis forms tidy clumps of arching green foliage, making it a standout choice for borders, cottage gardens, and mass plantings where its cheerful color can be showcased.

Ming Toy works beautifully along walkways, in mixed perennial beds, and at the front of borders where its smaller stature and long bloom season can be appreciated. The ruffled flowers open over an extended period from early to midsummer, with sporadic repeat bloom later in the season on established plants. Use it in cut flower arrangements, pollinator-friendly landscapes, and low-maintenance perennial schemes where reliable color is desired. Divide clumps every few years to maintain vigor and bloom quality.
