15 Unrooted Cuttings Othonna capensis Ruby Necklace Trailing Succulent

Othonna capensis Ruby Necklace is a trailing succulent prized for its slender, cascading stems and plump, bean-shaped leaves that shift to a rich ruby-pink hue in bright light. This South African native forms a colorful, low-growing mat or hanging curtain, making it a striking choice for containers, rock gardens, and mixed succulent displays. Its ruby-toned foliage contrasts nicely with green foliage plants and adds vivid color to sunny spaces.

Use this trailing succulent in hanging baskets, window boxes, or as a groundcover in warm, dry areas. Its slender stems spill gracefully over pot edges, and the foliage deepens in color under strong light. The plant is drought tolerant once established, and these unrooted cuttings are intended for propagation into new plants.
