100 Seeds Moss Verbena Verbena tenuisecta Groundcover

Moss Verbena is a low-growing, mat-forming perennial grown from seed, valued for its finely cut, feathery green foliage and dense clusters of small purple-violet flowers. It spreads into a soft, trailing carpet that works well on slopes, dry borders, and open ground, blooming over a long season and drawing visitors to the garden. Best treated as an easy, undemanding plant in sunny, well-drained sites.
This species suits rock gardens, xeriscape plantings, banks, and pollinator-friendly borders. Plants tolerate heat and dry spells once established, bloom from late spring into fall, and may self-sow in suitable conditions. Space plants so air moves freely between them, and cut back lightly after the first flush to encourage fresh growth and continued flowering. Seeds are small and best scattered on the surface then pressed in, since light aids germination.
