100 Seeds Lacy Phacelia Phacelia tanacetifolia

Lacy Phacelia is a fast-growing annual wildflower cherished for its fern-like, finely cut foliage and dense, curled clusters of lavender-blue flowers that bloom atop slender stems. Also known as tansy-leaf phacelia, it creates a soft, airy texture in borders, meadow plantings, and cutting gardens, with blooms that open in succession over a long season.

Its nectar-rich blossoms are a favorite of bees and other pollinators, making it a welcome addition to pollinator and wildlife plantings. The blooms are lovely in fresh or dried arrangements, and the plants work well as a quick cover crop or green manure in vegetable rotations between seasons. It performs best in full sun and well-drained soil, tolerating poor, sandy ground and cool weather.
