10 Leyland Cypress Starter Plants Evergreen Privacy Trees Live Plants

Leyland Cypress is a fast-growing evergreen conifer prized for its dense, feathery green foliage and tall, upright form, making it a popular choice for privacy screens, windbreaks, and landscape borders. These starter plants arrive as bare root liners ready to establish and grow into sturdy, long-lived trees that provide year-round color and structure.

Leyland Cypress grows vigorously in full sun and adapts well to a range of well-drained soils, developing a naturally conical shape with soft, fine-textured branches. It works beautifully as a single specimen, in rows for a living screen, or as a backdrop in mixed plantings. For best results, water regularly during the first season while roots establish, and space plants according to your desired density.
