1 Sawtooth Oak Live Bare Root Tree 12" Quercus acutissima Shade Tree

The Sawtooth Oak, Quercus acutissima, is a fast-growing deciduous shade tree valued for its distinctive deeply serrated, sawtooth-edged foliage and broad, rounded canopy. Its bright green leaves turn golden to brown in autumn, and the tree develops rugged, textured bark as it matures. Supplied as a bare root tree measuring approximately 12 to 24 inches, this vigorous grower establishes readily and makes a striking specimen for larger landscapes.
Sawtooth Oak works well as a shade tree, street tree, or background planting in parks and spacious yards, and its reliable growth habit makes it a strong choice for naturalized areas and wildlife-friendly landscapes. The foliage provides textural interest through the season, while the tree's branching structure adds winter appeal. Bare root trees should be planted promptly upon arrival while dormant, keeping roots moist until they are set in the ground.
