Reaper Bonnet – (Capsicum chinense)

The Reaper Bonnet fuses the fruity punch of a Scotch Bonnet with the fierce heat of the Carolina Reaper. Pods keep a bonnet-style shape but often show Reaper traits—extra bumps, longer forms, and the occasional sharp stinger. They ripen to a vivid golden yellow with a glossy, bumpy texture. Flavor starts bright and tropical, then quickly erupts into intense, million-plus SHU heat. It’s far hotter than a standard bonnet but still carries that signature citrusy sweetness.
