π Plant Description
Pinguicula moranensis is a unique carnivorous plant that grows in a rosette shape and changes its leaves depending on the season.
During cooler months, the plant forms a compact rosette of smaller, smooth leaves. In warmer months, it grows larger leaves covered in tiny sticky glands that help trap and digest insects.
These sticky leaves may feel slightly tackyβthatβs completely normal and how the plant feeds.
When mature, it sends up tall flower stalks with delicate, orchid-like blooms, most commonly in shades of purple, but sometimes pink or white.
