Greenway’s Pepper & Herb Fertilizer 11-11-40 is a water-soluble fertilizer for peppers and the culinary herbs on its label, such as basil, parsley, cilantro, and rosemary. It guarantees 11% nitrogen (10.5% nitrate, 0.5% ammoniacal), 11% available phosphate (P₂O₅), and 40% soluble potash (K₂O), with EDTA-chelated iron, manganese, zinc, and copper plus boron and molybdenum.

Peppers get 1.5 grams per plant at transplanting, 3 grams at first flowers, and 4 grams every 4 to 6 weeks from fruit set; herbs get 1.5 grams every 4 to 6 weeks. With a soil test, size a bed by its potash recommendation. In hydroponics, dose it to a potassium target, in a separate stock tank from calcium nitrate.

It contains no calcium or magnesium and little nitrogen, so plan those separately. Use it only on labeled crops, because it contains boron. Weigh each dose.

Registered with the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA). An independent laboratory heavy-metal test found arsenic, cadmium, and lead in the tested sample well below California’s limits. Packed in Madera, California, in 1 to 25 lb sizes.
