The Makita 18 Volt couple shaft power head tool kit contains 13 Inch string trimmer couple shaft attachment, 10 Inch saw couple shaft attachment, 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion 4.0 Amp-hour battery and a charger. Power head is a welcome solution for a range of trimming and cutting applications. Power head is perfect for landscapers and contractors for most demanding applications. Head has powerful BL™ brushless motor to deliver up to 7000 RPM for faster cutting. The lever style lock system assists for rapid tool-less installation and replacement of attachments. Variable speed trigger ensures controlled speed. High/Low speed button assists operator for easy power and run time management. Reverse (clockwise) rotation system of power head facilitates operator to clear brush cutter head of entangled grass and weeds quickly. String trimmer attachment contains rapid loading bump and feed trimmer head that loads line in seconds with 3 easy steps. Power head has Makita's Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™), which increases tool life in harsh conditions by offering increased resistance to water and dust. The Star Protection Computer Controls™ technology allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions while in use to safeguard against overloading, over-discharging and overheating. Power head assures zero emission, minimal maintenance and no requirement for gas or oil mixing.
