Stethorus Punctillum

Controls:

Stethorus punctillum is a specialized spider mite predator in the lady beetle family. It feeds on Two-Spotted Spider Mites (Tetranychus urticae), European Red Mites (Panonychusulmi), Spruce Spider Mites (Oligonycus ununguis) and Southern Red Mites (Oligonychus ilicis). Spider mite destroyer cleans up spider mite hotspots.

Application Rate Recommendations for Stethorus Punctillum:

• Preventative: 1 beetle per 20 square feet.
• Moderate Infestation: 1 beetle per 5 square feet.
• Heavy Infestation: 1 beetle per 2 square feet.

How-To Use Stethorus Punctillum For Best Results:

• Store at 50-59 °F (10-15 °C)
• Release Stethorus punctillum in the infested area.
• Monitor the population of spider mites.
• Repeat the release of Stethorus punctillum if necessary.
• Hold in a cool place and release beetles in the early morning or late evening.
• Open the container, and shake beetles onto foliage close to spider mite infestations. Place the container upright among plants to release the remaining adult beetles.
