Controls:
A parasitic wasp best known for its ability to control several mealybug species. Female Anagyrus vladimiri locate mealybugs with their antennae, sting the host, and lay an egg in it. Parasitized mealybugs stop feeding on plant tissue and become yellow-brown. New adult parasites emerge through a hole at the back of the parasitized mealybug.
Application Rate Recommendations for Anagyrus vladimiri:
- Preventative: 1-2 per square foot every 2-4 weeks
- Moderate Infestation: 2-4 per square foot every 2-4 weeks
- Heavy Infestation: 4-8 per square foot every 2-4 weeks
How-To Use Anagyrus vladimiri For Best Results:

Release the wasps as soon as possible after receipt

Release the wasps in the early morning or late afternoon when temperatures are cooler

Release the wasps near infested plants.

Avoid using pesticides for at least two weeks before and after releasing the wasps
