Crimson Clover Raw

Crimson Clover Raw is an upright to semi-upright winter annual with light green, softly haired leaves and crimson flowers. It has a taproot accompanied by numerous small fibrous roots, and is adapted to cool, humid conditions.

Crimson Clover has been successfully used as a cover crop in rotations with corn, soybeans, wheat, cotton, potatoes, and grain sorghum. Its main cover crop benefits are nitrogen production, soil building, and erosion prevention, and it also serves well as a forage and grazing crop.
