Chelated Iron DTPA Fertilizer 11% Fe

<p>Greenway Biotech Chelated Iron DTPA is a fully chelated, water-soluble powdered iron fertilizer with a guaranteed 11% iron, all of it chelated by DTPA. It prevents and corrects iron deficiency (yellowing between green veins on the youngest leaves) in vegetable, field, tree, vine, and ornamental crops, and supplies the iron line in hydroponic and fertigation recipes. DTPA holds iron in solution better than EDTA as pH rises, for neutral to moderately alkaline root zones.</p>
<p>The manufacturer&rsquo;s directions for this 11% iron DTPA are 2&frac12;&ndash;7&frac12; lb per acre for vegetable and field crops and 2&frac12;&ndash;10 lb per acre for tree and vine crops, &frac12;&ndash;2&frac12; oz per inch of trunk diameter for individual trees, and &frac13;&ndash;2 lb per acre as a foliar spray buffered to pH 6&ndash;6.5, by crop. In solution, 1 g per liter supplies 110 mg/L of iron.</p>
<p>Confirm the deficiency and measure pH first: the chelate is about half stable at pH 7.5 and does not lower pH or replace a complete fertilizer. Shade reservoirs; light degrades Fe-DTPA. Packaged in Madera, California in 1, 2, 5, and 25 lb sizes.</p>
