Carex albicans
Sedge-White-Tinged

Discover Carex albicans 'Sedge-White-Tinged', a versatile groundcover that thrives where traditional lawns struggle. With the same elegant appearance and growing preferences as C. pensylvanica, this sedge adapts beautifully to dry, shaded areas.

It spreads steadily via rhizomes and self-seeding, creating dense mats of fine, graceful blades. Spring brings distinctive tan and brown flower spikes that add visual interest and texture to your landscape design. Perfect for challenging spots that need a low-maintenance, attractive solution.
