6 Live Plants Mixed Hosta Hosta spp Shade Perennial Starter Plants

These mixed hostas arrive as six live starter plants, ready to establish in shaded beds and borders. Grown for their broad, ribbed foliage, they quickly form tidy clumps that anchor woodland plantings, cottage borders, and containers with dependable leafy texture.

Hostas are prized for their ornamental foliage in shades of green, blue, gold, and cream, with some varieties showing variegated or edged leaves. They perform best in partial to full shade with consistent moisture and well-drained, humus-rich soil. Use them as ground cover, edging, or mixed border accents alongside ferns, astilbe, and heuchera. In cold climates the foliage dies back in winter and returns from the crown each spring.
