500 Tall Bellflower Seeds Campanula americana Native Blue Wildflower Woodland Biennial Summer Bloomer

Campanula americana, commonly called tall bellflower, is a North American woodland wildflower grown for its tall upright stems and starry blue-violet blooms that open through the summer months. Reaching several feet high in a single season, it lends vertical structure and a soft naturalized look to shaded borders, pollinator plantings, and cottage-style gardens.
This biennial typically forms a leafy rosette the first year and flowers the following summer, then self-sows readily to keep a colony going. The open, star-shaped flowers are a graceful choice for naturalized areas, light woodland edges, and the back of the border, and the long stems work well as a cut flower. It grows best in consistently moist, humus-rich ground.
