500 Seeds Scarlet Nantes Carrot Daucus carota Vegetable Garden Seeds

Scarlet Nantes carrot is a dependable open-pollinated variety prized for its bright orange, cylindrical roots and crisp, sweet flavor. A longtime favorite in home gardens and market plots, it matures uniformly and performs well across a range of growing conditions, making it a solid choice for both fresh eating and storing.

The roots are smooth, nearly coreless, and grow to roughly six to seven inches, holding their color and texture well after harvest. Enjoy them raw in salads, roasted, steamed, or added to soups and stews, and use the tops as a garnish or in pesto. Succession sow every few weeks for a steady supply through the season.
