500 Seeds Chinese Milk Vetch Astragalus sinicus Green Manure Cover Crop Nitrogen Fixing

Chinese Milk Vetch (Astragalus sinicus) is a cool-season annual legume valued as a green manure and cover crop. It forms low, spreading growth with delicate pinnate leaves and produces small pink to purple pea-like flowers that create a colorful carpet in spring.
Often sown in fall or early spring to cover bare soil, Chinese Milk Vetch is used in cover crop mixes, pastures, and ornamental plantings. Its sprawling habit helps suppress weeds and adds organic matter when turned into the soil. It performs best in moist, well-drained soils and tolerates a range of conditions.
