500 Great Blue Lobelia Seeds Lobelia siphilitica Native Blue Wildflower Perennial

Great Blue Lobelia is a native North American perennial prized for its tall spikes of tubular blue-violet blooms that open from late summer into early fall. Growing two to three feet high, it forms neat upright clumps of bright green foliage and brings reliable vertical color to borders, cottage gardens, and meadow plantings.

Its late-season flowers are highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, making it a strong choice for pollinator and wildlife gardens. Great Blue Lobelia thrives in consistently moist to wet ground, so it suits rain gardens, stream banks, pond edges, and low spots where other perennials struggle, and it pairs beautifully with ferns, sedges, and joe-pye weed. Allow spent blooms to stand for winter interest and self-sowing.
