50 Seeds Ocean Spray Holodiscus discolor Ornamental Native Shrub

Ocean Spray (Holodiscus discolor) is a deciduous North American native shrub valued for its arching branches and abundant cascading clusters of tiny creamy-white flowers that appear in early to midsummer. The blooms give a frothy, mist-like effect along the stems, followed by small dried seed heads that persist into fall and winter, offering multi-season ornamental interest for naturalistic and woodland plantings.
This adaptable shrub works well as a specimen, in mixed borders, native plant gardens, hedgerows, and slope or erosion-control plantings where its spreading habit helps stabilize soil. Its airy flower panicles also hold up well when cut for fresh or dried arrangements, and the seed heads add texture to winter landscapes.
