50 Seeds Great Angelica Angelica atropurpurea

Great Angelica is a robust native perennial known for its tall, dramatic presence and large rounded umbels of white to greenish-white flowers that appear in summer. Its striking deep purple to maroon stems and bold, tropical-looking foliage make it a standout in rain gardens, meadow plantings, and along pond edges.

This statuesque plant reaches impressive heights and pairs beautifully with other moisture-loving perennials in the back of the border. Its flowers attract a wide range of pollinators, and the dried seed heads add winter interest to the garden. Great Angelica thrives in consistently moist to wet soils and is an excellent choice for naturalized areas and waterside landscapes.
