50 Seeds Aquilegia Double Maroon White Columbine Perennial Bicolor Shade Loving Flower

Columbine 'Double Maroon White' offers striking deep maroon petals elegantly edged with creamy white, creating a dramatic bicolor effect on fully double, spurless blooms. This hardy perennial is a favorite for cottage gardens and shaded borders, attracting pollinators while adding intricate texture and romantic charm to cut flower arrangements. These seeds will mature into compact, airy plants with delicate foliage that remains attractive all season.
For best results, sow seeds in a well-draining spot with dappled light; blooms appear in the second year after a cold stratification period. This ornamental is excellent for woodland edges, under deciduous trees, or as a soft filler in mixed perennial beds. Once established, it self-seeds gently and returns reliably each spring, providing long-lasting color in cooler spring and early summer months.
