5 Seeds Punica granatum Hardy Pomegranate Deciduous Fruit Tree Ornamental Edible

Punica granatum, commonly known as pomegranate, is a deciduous shrub or small tree valued for its glossy foliage, bright trumpet-shaped flowers, and distinctive round fruit. This hardy selection offers ornamental interest across multiple seasons and can be grown in gardens, borders, or large containers where space is limited.

Grown for its ornamental and culinary value, pomegranate produces fruit with juicy arils that can be used fresh or in cooking and beverages. It performs best in full sun with well-drained soil and develops a naturally bushy to tree-like habit over time. Suitable for temperate and warm climates, it may be grown in the ground or in containers with protection in cooler zones.
