5 Seeds Pseudolarix amabilis Golden Larch Deciduous Conifer Tree

Pseudolarix amabilis, commonly known as the Golden Larch, offers a rare combination of conifer structure with deciduous charm. Unlike typical evergreens, its soft, needle-like foliage turns a brilliant golden-yellow in autumn before gracefully dropping, providing striking seasonal interest for gardens, patios, or bonsai projects. These seeds allow you to grow a distinctive specimen tree that is both elegant and conversation-worthy, with a mature form that develops a rugged, picturesque bark over time.
This ornamental tree is ideal for use as a focal point in landscape beds, rock gardens, or large containers, where its seasonal color transitions can be admired. It performs best in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained, slightly acidic soil with consistent moisture. As a slow-growing conifer, it suits patient gardeners seeking a unique addition, and its natural cone-shaped habit adds structural appeal. Cultivate it as a standalone feature or train it as a bonsai for a refined, artistic display.
