5 Seeds Orange Coneflower Echinacea Sombrero Series Perennial Flower

Orange Coneflower, a member of the Echinacea Sombrero Series, is a compact perennial prized for its large, vibrant orange blooms that brighten borders, beds, and containers from summer into early fall. Growing to about 18 to 24 inches tall, it forms a tidy clump of dark green foliage and flowers freely, making it a standout choice for gardeners who want bold color over a long season. Its daisy-like flowers with prominent central cones add strong visual interest wherever they are planted.
This coneflower works beautifully in mixed perennial borders, pollinator-friendly plantings, cutting gardens, and patio containers. The sturdy stems hold up well in arrangements, and spent blooms can be left standing for winter interest or cut back to encourage continued flowering. It prefers full sun and well-drained soil, and once established it settles in as a dependable, low-maintenance perennial that returns year after year.
