5 Seeds Nymphaea rubra Red Tropical Water Lily Aquatic Plant

Nymphaea rubra, commonly known as the red tropical water lily, is a striking aquatic perennial prized for its deep crimson to rosy-red blooms and broad floating foliage. Native to tropical regions of Asia, this species brings bold color and a graceful, exotic presence to ponds and water gardens, where its flowers open above the water surface and its leaves provide natural shade and cover.

An excellent choice for warm-climate ponds and container water gardens, Nymphaea rubra grows from rhizomes rooted in submerged soil and sends up rounded floating leaves throughout the growing season. The vivid red flowers contrast beautifully with the green pads and make a memorable centerpiece for any water feature.
