5 Seeds Lindera benzoin Spicebush Native Shrub

Lindera benzoin, commonly known as spicebush, is a deciduous North American native shrub valued for its aromatic foliage, neat rounded habit, and role in naturalistic landscapes. It offers multi-season interest with small yellow spring flowers, glossy green summer leaves, and bright golden fall color.
In the landscape, spicebush works well in native plant gardens, woodland edges, rain gardens, and mixed shrub borders. Its leaves and twigs are aromatic when crushed, and the shrub can be grown as an understory planting or informal hedge.
