5 Seeds Hosta longipes Mixed Leaf Varieties Shade Garden Perennial

Hosta longipes is a shade-loving perennial species valued for its heart-shaped foliage and graceful, arching habit, offering a range of leaf forms and green tones across mixed varieties. It grows into a tidy clumping plant that works well in woodland borders, shaded beds, and container plantings.
This hosta suits shaded and semi-shaded garden positions where its foliage can be appreciated as a ground cover or accent plant. The leaves unfurl in spring and form dense mounds through the growing season, producing tall flower spikes in summer that add vertical interest. It pairs well with ferns, heucheras, and other shade perennials.
