5 Seeds Hibiscus mutabilis Confederate Rose

Hibiscus mutabilis, commonly known as Confederate Rose, is a flowering shrub or small tree admired for its large, showy blooms that open pale and gradually deepen in color on the same plant. This deciduous species brings late-season interest to gardens with its abundant, rose-like flowers and broad, lobed foliage.
Confederate Rose is often grown as a striking ornamental accent in mixed borders, cottage gardens, and warm-climate landscapes. The blooms are attractive to pollinators, and the plant may be grown as a shrub or trained into a small tree form. In colder zones it can be treated as a herbaceous perennial that dies back and regrows each season.
