5 Seeds Helianthus maximiliani Maximilian Perennial Sunflower Native Wildflower

Helianthus maximiliani, commonly known as Maximilian sunflower, is a tall perennial native wildflower prized for its late-season display of bright golden blooms. Plants form sturdy, upright clumps of narrow, blue-green foliage and are a striking addition to meadows, prairie plantings, and the back of the border.
This sunflower offers excellent ornamental value, with cheerful yellow flowers that carry the garden into autumn, and its seed heads are favored by birds. It works well in naturalistic and pollinator-friendly landscapes, tolerates a range of conditions once established, and returns reliably year after year.
