5 Seeds Gerbera Daisy Gerbera jamesonii Perennial Flower Bright Blooms

Gerbera daisy is a beloved perennial prized for its large, daisy-like blooms in vivid shades that bring a cheerful, long-lasting presence to beds, borders, and containers. Known botanically as Gerbera jamesonii, this clump-forming plant produces sturdy stems above a tidy rosette of lobed green foliage, flowering generously across the warmer months and returning year after year in suitable climates.

Grown as an ornamental, gerbera daisy works beautifully in cutting gardens, mixed borders, patio pots, and mass plantings where its bold color and rounded form draw the eye. The blooms are excellent for fresh arrangements and hold well when cut. Plants prefer consistent moisture, good drainage, and a sunny spot with some protection from intense afternoon heat.
