5 Seeds Gas Plant Red Dictamnus albus rubra Perennial Flower

Gas Plant Red, also known as Dictamnus albus rubra, is a long-lived herbaceous perennial treasured for its upright spikes of soft rose-red blooms that rise above glossy, lemon-scented foliage in late spring to early summer. This old-fashioned garden favorite forms a sturdy, shrub-like clump over time, adding vertical interest and a refined cottage-garden presence to borders, beds, and mixed plantings.
The aromatic, fern-like green foliage stays attractive through the season and takes on warm tones in autumn, while the long-lasting flower spikes work well in fresh arrangements. Slow to establish but notably enduring once settled, this perennial rewards patience with years of dependable bloom and structure in the landscape.
