5 Seeds Eucalyptus neglecta Hardy Evergreen Tree

This offering includes five seeds of Eucalyptus neglecta, also known as Omeo gum, a hardy evergreen tree admired for its striking, rounded juvenile foliage that matures into elongated, blue-green adult leaves. Its attractive bark, which peels to reveal smooth, pale gray tones, adds year-round visual interest, making it a distinctive focal point for landscapes or large containers. As a fast-growing species, it brings a touch of Australian character to temperate gardens, thriving where winters are cool and providing consistent greenery through all seasons.

Commonly grown as an ornamental specimen, this tree works well as a windbreak, screen, or a dramatic accent in mixed borders. Its aromatic foliage can also be used in floral arrangements or as a source of cut greenery, while the tree's natural shape requires minimal pruning to maintain an appealing form. Plant in a sunny, well-drained location and allow ample space for mature growth, as it develops into a substantial tree over time.
