5 Seeds Cow Parsnip Native Wildflower Heracleum lanatum

Cow Parsnip is a tall, statuesque native wildflower known for its bold presence in meadows, woodland edges, and naturalized areas. It produces very large, deeply lobed green leaves and broad, flat umbels of tiny white flowers that rise on thick, sturdy stems, creating a striking architectural look through the growing season.
This plant works well in native plant gardens, pollinator-friendly landscapes, rain gardens, and informal meadow plantings. The broad leaves add strong texture and structure, while the flower heads provide a landing platform for a wide range of insects. It prefers consistently moist, rich soil and can reach impressive heights when conditions are right.
