5 Seeds Cornus kousa chinensis Chinese Dogwood Tree Flowering Ornamental

Cornus kousa chinensis, commonly known as Chinese Dogwood, is a flowering deciduous tree admired for its layered horizontal branches, creamy-white pointed bracts, and distinctive raspberry-like fruit clusters. It offers multi-season interest with spring bloom, vivid autumn foliage color, and textured bark that adds winter appeal to home landscapes.
Often used as a specimen tree, in mixed borders, or in woodland-style plantings, it grows at a moderate pace into a small ornamental tree with a broad, vase-shaped habit. The bracts appear in late spring above fresh green foliage, followed by pendant red fruit clusters and foliage that shifts to reddish-purple in fall. Seeds are intended for propagation and can be sown after appropriate cold stratification.
