5 Seeds Commiphora berryi Balm of Gilead Tree Rare Fragrant Resin Plant

This offering presents five seeds of Commiphora berryi, a striking and uncommon tree often referred to as the Balm of Gilead. Known for its unique, sculptural branching and aromatic resin, this species adds a distinctive touch to any plant collection, appealing to gardeners interested in rare and exotic caudiciform or bonsai-style plants. Its ability to thrive in warm, arid conditions makes it a fascinating addition to a sunny windowsill, greenhouse, or outdoor succulent garden.
These seeds are intended for ornamental cultivation, where the tree can be grown as a specimen plant or trained to showcase its interesting form. As the plant matures, it develops a swollen base and peeling bark, offering year-round visual interest. For best results, provide a well-draining soil mix and allow the soil to dry between waterings, as this species naturally prefers a drier environment. Please note, this is a slow-growing species, rewarding patient gardeners with its unique character over time.
