5 Seeds Citrus junos Yuzu Citrus Tree

Fragrant and ornamental, Yuzu is a hardy citrus prized for its aromatic, bumpy-skinned fruit and versatile culinary appeal. This slow-growing tree features glossy green foliage and thorny branches, making it a distinctive addition to patios, greenhouses, or sunny indoor spaces. Its bright yellow fruits are valued for their tangy, complex flavor, often used to enhance sauces, dressings, and beverages.

Plant seeds in well-draining soil and provide consistent warmth and bright light for best germination. Yuzu thrives as a container plant in cooler climates, requiring winter protection, or in the ground in milder regions. Expect a vigorous, upright habit with occasional pruning to shape. While fruit production may take several years, the tree offers year-round ornamental interest and a rewarding growing experience for citrus enthusiasts.
